To Federal Specification FF-T791, Type 1, Form 1, Class 4 & ASTM F-1145

Each piece is drop forged and hot-dipped galvanized for extreme durability and resistance to corrosion and rust. End fittings are quenched and tempered and bodies are normalized.

Eye and eye turnbuckles have elongated eye-shaped loops at both ends for easy attachment to cables, wire ropes, chains, and other semi-permanent or permanent fixtures. They are designed to apply tension for support or suspension and can also be used to alter the length of cables, ropes, and tie rods.
